I started Key's Minerals and opened my mineral store in 1998. Initially, I was in music business and played saxophones in Tokyo. I also enjoyed collecting minerals.
In 1995, the Great Hanshin Earthquake hit my hometown "Ashiya" and this event changed my life. I decided to leave Tokyo, go home to repair my house that my mother left me, and start a fulltime mineral business here.
Why I named "Key's Minerals"? The reason is that I am called "Key-san" by the people one is close to.
